What to consider

Costs:
You do need to consider how much you are prepared to spend on your wedding stationery. It's a good idea to discuss this budget with your partner so that your stationery can be tailored to suit.

Guests:
Remember that not everyone on your guest list will need an invitation, as most of your guests will be couples, so for 100 guests, you would need about 60 invitations and 60 RSVP cards. They will each need their own placecard but the Bonbonniere can be either, each or shared.Your guests will be delighted to receive their invitation from you so it's a good idea to check the spelling of their names so as not to upset them. RSVP Cards are a great idea and more often than not, included with the invitation for a prompt response.

Personally designed
Today you can enjoy the excitement of having your wedding stationery designed and created especially for you, your designer will be only to happy to work with you and create a design that reflects your style and ideas. Offering a complete service, where you can choose all the stationery and accessories to complete an overall theme, or just choose selected items to suit your needs.
Your designer will have a display of samples to help get you started and then be able to suggest and create options for you to consider. You will be put to ease by their ablility and confidence, making it easy to entrust the announcement of your most special day to them.

Do it yourself
Making your own invitations can be both an exciting and challenging option. Exciting in that you can tell everyone that you made them yourself and the satisfaction of knowing that you did it. Challenging in that, not everything always goes according to plan. If you plan to make your own invitations, be sure to mention that to your sales consultant when you purchase your papers, and be sure that they will help you with any parts that you may have difficulty with. Otherwise you may be on your own and it could end up costing you way more in the long run.
